Everyone! Another new release for you – this one inspired by wildfires. Writing and lead vocals by Vanessa. The production on this one is a little more indie rock than prior releases.
You can check it out at https://distrokid.com/hyperfollow/broomhorse/gravity for your favorite streaming services or for purchase at Bandcamp.
Hey Friends, Check it out! We have (finally) released one of the singles that we’re working on, called Judas Iscariot Blues. It’s a reflection on the gospel according to Matthew, and sacrifice for the greater good. We’ve spent a lot of time on this one – and it took maybe a million banjo takes and two million mixes in order to get what we wanted, but we got there.
We hope you love it, we’re proud of it. We’re working on lining up some gigs this fall/winter — stay tuned for more developments and we hope that you dig the new tune.
You can hear it right now on Bandcamp right here:

And over the course of this week it should start showing up on all o’ the streaming services, you can see them here:

See you soon!

Hey y’all we’re not asleep at the wheel… Just working on a few new tunes so we’ve been recording and mixing things up for three new songs (at least) to get released before long. And also, looking for some gigs in the September timeframe, since our OTHER life schedules have been busy.
But we’re excited to have more to share with you soon and look forward to getting to play for you in person!
Listening to Telle Novella and prepping for tomorrow night’s gig.

Hey friends, come and see us on May 90th at Somebody’s Coffee in St. Pete – 1753 Prescott ST S St Petersburg Fl!
Vanessa brought this gorgeous song in, so we arranged it for guitar and voice (rather than the original harp/piano/cello arrangement version by Agnes Obel. I hope we do it justice.
Another video from the practice space of one of our favorite tunes to do — The Decemberists’ Hazards of Love 4 (The Drowned). Hope you enjoy it as much as we enjoyed making it. happy Valentines’ Day, lovers!
We recently recorded a couple of videos in the practice space – check out our sort of vespertine cover of Men at Work’s Overkill on YouTube:
